Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease in Paraguay
Dr Hugo Federico Idoyaga Benítez, President of the National Service for Quality and Animal Health (SENACSA), Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Paraguay, informed the OIE that a simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease (FMD) will take place in the locality of Cerrito, district of Benjamín Aceval, department of Presidente Hayes, from 19 to 23 September 2016. The SENACSA will conduct this exercise under the organisation and coordination of the Pan American Centre for Foot-and-Mouth Disease (PANAFTOSA).
This simulation exercise is performed within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed beteween the SENACSA and PANAFTOSA. It is aimed at technical staff of the Official Veterinary Service with the support of the Commissions of Animal Health.

Ejercicio de simulacro: Fiebre aftosa en Paraguay
El Doctor Hugo Federico Idoyaga Benítez, Presidente del Servicio Nacional de Calidad y Salud Animal (SENACSA), Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería de Paraguay, informó a la OIE acerca de un simulacro de fiebre aftosa que se llevará a cabo en la localidad de Cerrito, distrito de Benjamín Aceval, departamento Presidente Hayes, del 19 al 23 de septiembre de 2016. El SENACSA realizará este simulacro bajo la organización y coordinación del Centro panamericano de fiebre aftosa (PANAFTOSA).
Este simulacro se realiza dentro del marco del acuerdo de cooperación firmado entre el SENACSA y PANAFTOSA. Está dirigido a técnicos del Servicio veterinario oficial, con apoyo de las Comisiones de salud animal.

Exercice de simulation : Fièvre aphteuse au Paraguay
Le Docteur Hugo Federico Idoyaga Benítez, Président du Service national de qualité et de santé animale (SENACSA), Ministère de l’agriculture et de l’élevage du Paraguay, a informé l’OIE qu’un exercice de simulation de fièvre aphteuse se déroulera dans la localité de Cerrito, district de Benjamín Aceval, département de Presidente Hayes, du 19 au 23 septembre 2016. Le SENACSA réalisera cet exercice de simulation sous l’organisation et la coordination du Centre Panaméricain de la fièvre aphteuse (PANAFTOSA).
Cet exercice de simulation se déroulera dans le cadre de l’accord de coopération signé entre le SENACSA et PANAFTOSA. Il s’adresse aux techniciens du Service vétérinaire officiel, avec l’appui des Commissions de santé animale.
